Shrungagiri Sri Shanmukha Swami Gudi

"Shrungagiri Shri Shanmukha Swami GudiTemple is located at RajaRajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore. It is about 240 feet above the ground level. At the entrance, two peacock statues welcome us. From here you hsve to climb about 150 steps. Ramp is also available which is covered by shed. On the way to the temple, you can worship Panchamuka Vinayakar. Then you will come across Lord Shiva temple. You can sit here and meditate. After the Dharshan of Shiva, you can reach Lord Muruga's Temple. Here, Lord Shanmukha has six faces and bless us with twelve hands. You can sit here, close your eyes and pray. The Temple is very pious and you can feel the positive vibes. Beautiful paintings of the six abodes of Lord Muruga is displayed. Good collection of Lord Ganesh's statues are also displayed here. At the top of the hill, the statue of six faced Lord Muruga is available which is visible even from a distanve of 1 km. Adequate car parking facility is available. But rest room is not available."

"Very peaceful place. Great view of the sunset in the evening. Can sit and relax here. Take lots of pictures. Enough parking available. 40₹ for 4-wheeler. Not sure about bike parking charges. Footwear stand is available for 3₹/person. Not sure about toilets. Few steps to climb. Small souvenir type shop on the way up. You get bananas, ice-cream and water. Nothing much to eat. There's a cup corn guy near parking. Market is close by so you can get restaurants there. 2-3 autos might be available during weekends. Lot of stray dogs inside. Close to 10-15. Barking and fighting. So be careful if you are scared of dogs."

"Temple premise is so nice and clean. Very nice experience visiting all the temples and spending time around the stairs and enjoying views. Lot of steps, so anyone with severe knee pain should avoid, steps are not too high so okish for others, after half way, you can use the slopping along stair mix to walk comfortably."
