"The forgotten past of Richards Park Richards Park is a tranquil and charming urban park located in the heart of the city, offering a peaceful retreat amidst greenery and open spaces. Resting in a corner of Richards Park are six stone carved benches that are more than 100 years old and totally forgotten People sitting on these benches, day in and out, don’t even know they are actually sitting on pieces of history. Also the newer benches have completely overshadowed these relics."

"Richards Park blends a restful, green pocket with local charm and a sense of history. While the surrounding traffic and occasional neglect of historic features slightly dent its serenity, its warm community feel, shady spots, and weekend energy still make it a beloved hangout in Richards Town. If you’re looking to experience Bengaluru’s old-world cantonment feel, combined with casual commotion and leafy peace, Richards Park is a small but soulful stop worth your time. Ideal For • A relaxed morning walk or early evening unwind • Families looking for shaded lawns for picnics or playtime • Fitness enthusiasts seeking a local jogging route or a badminton hangout • Heritage walkers curious about colonial‑era landscaping and town planning."

"Very nice park. The park is not too big, but comfortable to walk multiple rounds. Large trees, plenty of plants, very refreshing. There is a children's play area also. One can see many children there. Though I did not use, there was a public toilet inside the park. There is sufficient space to park vehicles around the park."

"Nice location, but the children's play area has to be fully fixed because several of the slides are broken and no one is available to replace them. It is dangerous for children to play in such conditions. We kindly ask our BBMP officer to get this fixed so that our children can enjoy themselves to the fullest. Regards ."
